Car cooling system repair near me: Fixing all the leaks

Don’t confuse the air conditioning system with the cooling one. These systems perform different functions, though they are both important for your safe and comfortable driving experience. While A/C affects the interior environment in your vehicle, the cooling system protects the engine from overheating. If it doesn’t function properly, it’s time to learn about car cooling system repair costs and where you can have your cooling system parts fixed or replaced.

The cooling system consists of various components, including coolant, water pumps, fans, and the radiator. When any of these fails, your car’s engine can’t maintain adequate temperature and release excess heat.

How can you spot when your vehicle’s cooling system falls short of maintaining adequate temperature? These are the most common warning signs:

  • The gauge shows the temperature rise
  • The control panel warns you about the low coolant level
  • Obvious coolant leaks
  • There is smoke from under the hood
  • Thick white smoke comes from the exhaust

Each of these issues can lead to your car’s engine overheating and damage. The best way to respond to them is to schedule auto cooling system repairs in Indianapolis with ASG Automotive. Your repair appointment will involve the check of antifreeze, water pumps, radiator, thermostat, and other components of the cooling system.

Careful diagnostics performed by our experts allow us to pinpoint the problem and accurately specify how much it can cost to replace the cooling system in your car. Let’s carry it out today!

I went to ASG Automotive to get help with my Chevy Equinox that had been sitting in my garage for a couple years. My Equinox needed a lot of work, they did an assessment on it and gave me a full report detailing things that needed to be fixed right away, things that we could put off for a while, and everything in green was good as is. They took photos of the things that needed repairs which was helpful. I've worked with Scott primarily and he's been very communicative and helpful in explaining everything. I plan on taking my car here for all future repairs, they're super fast, fairly priced and great to work with.

I went to ASG with a headlight issue. I bought after market lights that were not installed properly by a previous mechanic. They did a “complete” diagnostic and determined after switching and switching back bulbs and checking the ballasts, that one side has a bad fuse and the other side needed a new bulb. I paid $434 for the bulb and maintenance and was happy to finally have working headlights again. Literally a few hours later, my wife tells me my headlight is still not working. I call ASG the very next day to tell them that the bulb they replaced is not working. Scott contacted me personally and expressed regret at the possibility of having a customer not be pleased with their work. Scott then offered to complete the repair at no further cost to me. I brought my truck back in and they took care of me promptly. No more headlight issues and I’ll definitely be back if I have any other issues with any off of vehicles. I really appreciate how the end result was a company honoring it’s pledge to always try to have a satisfied customer. ASG came through big time.

ASG automotive earned my respect as a car repair shop! Took my 2013 Mercedes there after experiencing some drive shaft issues. They took my car in and diagnosed the problem to make sure no further damage was done to the engine and transmission. Service to my vehicle was top notch but the best part was the assurance and honesty from the people that work at ASG. They even took time to follow up with me months after my repair to make sure of quality service. Will be taking my car here for any future repairs or needs!
